While membership is not required to participate in
the life and fellowship of First Reformed Church, we do recognize that it is in
membership that we fulfill what Paul spoke about in Ephesians when he tells us
to "submit to one another." Membership in a local congregation provides for
wonderful fellowship and Biblical accountability.
There are three ways to become a member at First Reformed Chruch:
- Profession of Faith
- Reaffirmation of Faith
- Transfer
We periodically have membership classes, called "Get to know First Reformed",
which explain more about who we are as a church and what it means to be a
member. These classes are held at various times throughout the year depending on
