From the Webmaster...
"I'm not really a Webmaster..."

...So when I put up the first page a couple of months back, I got a comment from one of the Praise Team members, Dave.  He mentioned to me about the title of "Webmaster".  The first thought that went through my mind was the infamous comment about Al Gore inventing the Internet.  I should have clarified the title as FRC Webmaster, but I was too busy trying to get this working.  So i'll be changing this sometime soon (just so Dave doesn't have anything to pick on me about this going forward...I can only hope...)

As 2012 unfolds, I am looking forward to bringing some new content to the web site, and I wanted to briefly share with you where things are at.  I've been spending some time working on things that are classified as in the background; that is, working on solidifying some of the infrastructure.  But soon I plan to roll out some new things that aren't in the background...
  • For starters, a revamped Media Center will be coming online soon.  In addition to finding the weekly church bulletins here, you'll find some other media content including some videos from the church (including the 150th Anniversary video), some pictures from events taking place, links to external services, and more.  We hope to be adding some audio/video content later this year for sermons and other functions; stay tuned as those are worked out.
  • A new page providing information about other area churches, including reformed churches in nearby communities, and other relative content.
  • A new page showcasing the different missions commissioned by our church.
  • Some of the existing content will also be revamped over the year on the Mission and Ministries pages.
I hope you will find this new content enriching and I ask for your prayers to help me achieve these goals.  If you'd like to help out in this endeavor, please let me know.  And thanks in advance for your consideration.
