Praise And Prayer Page
To add a request to the page for yourself, or for a family member or friend, simply contact the church office by phone, or by email, or by leaving a note. Typically a request will be listed for 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the nature of the need. Please contact the office if you would like it printed for any length of time beyond that. Also, updates are greatly appreciated if a prayer request will be printed for more that 1 or 2 weeks. And, in addition to prayer requests, we’d also like to list opportunities to praise God for His goodness in our lives.
- Ralph Schlichting was hospitalized this week and has returned home.
- Robby Albert - pray for healing of his blood disorder. Pray that the new medicine will be effective.
- Please pray for the Fyffe family and the safe arrival of their baby as Sandy has been put on bed rest until the baby is born.
- Please keep in your prayers Eric Meinnert, Samantha Wehrmann, Krystal Born, Jill Buehler, and Liz Clemens. As part of the Gibbsville Transformers they will be in New Mexico on a mission trip June 14th through the 21st. Pray that the Holy Spirit will be moving within their group, and that they will be able to be a witness in Jesus name! Also please pray for their safety in travel. Thank You!
- Please pray for Lori, a co-worker of Jill Lemkuil’s, who not so long ago lost her son and now her 2-year-old nephew drowned in the family swimming pool.
- Pray for all the people in our state who have been affected by the flooding and also keep Armond & Rachel Floyd in your prayers as Waterloo also has had a lot of flooding. The Floyd’s were leaving their home as a precaution but as of Wed. did not have any flood damage to their home but several people in their church have had damage and some have even lost their homes.
- Our sympathy is extended to Ken & Pam Tarr and family on the loss of Ken’s dad, Richard. May God comfort you at this time.
- Mission of the week – Doug Arthur – Campus Crusade
Please keep these individuals/groups in your prayers. "In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, (we can) present (our) requests to God" (Philippians 4 : 6) |
