 The Ripple Effect
In 2010, First Reformed Church embarks on the theme of "The Ripple Effect". We invite you to join us on Sundays as we explore the impact we can have on others in sharing God's love and the many ways we can create ripples to make it happen.
As part of this venture, our web site will begin going through a transition to reflect this theme and the many ways we can engage the church, and those outside of it. Watch for details in the weeks to come as we create ripples on the Internet!
UPDATE: As part of the transition, we are looking for anyone who has any of the following church bulletins handy: earliest known existence of a church bulletin (whether under the First Reformed Church name or an earlier name of our church), 25th, 50th, 75th, 100th and/or 125th. If you have any of these, please contact us. |
Service/Activity Cancellations
We are pleased to announce that, in the event church services or activities need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we'll post a notice here at www.1streformed.org as soon as possible. Service cancellations will be posted by no later than 7:30AM the day of services, and activity cancellations will be posted by no later than 4:00PM the day of activities. You can also check www.whbl.com, local radio here in Sheboygan, or WISN television, channel 12.
Church Bulletins
The Church Bulletins are now available online. Click this link to access the Bulletins page.
Praise And Prayer Page
To add a request to the page for yourself, or for a family member or friend, simply contact the church office by phone, or by email, or by leaving a note. Typically a request will be listed for 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the nature of the need. Please contact the office if you would like it printed for any length of time beyond that. Also, updates are greatly appreciated if a prayer request will be printed for more that 1 or 2 weeks. And, in addition to prayer requests, wed also like to list opportunities to praise God for His goodness in our lives.
- Lois Buehler recovering from surgery - Gerald DeRuyter is at St. Nicholas Hospital - Andrew Houwers- was hospitalized but has returned home - Carolyn Huibregtse at Pine Haven - Mission of the week Dan & Nancy Weavers
Please keep these individuals/groups in your prayers. "In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, (we can) present (our) requests to God" (Philippians 4 : 6) |
